Return & Core Policy – Beachside Auto Parts

At Beachside Auto Parts, our goal is to get you the right parts the first time. If something doesn’t work out, here’s how we handle returns and core refunds:

1. Standard Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.
  • A receipt or order confirmation is required.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (or store credit if that’s not available).
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the error was ours.

2. Non-Returnable Items

To protect all our customers, certain items can’t be returned:

  • Electrical or electronic parts once opened or installed.
  • Special orders or custom items.
  • Chemicals, oils, and additives if opened.
  • Tools or equipment that show wear or use.

3. Exchanges

  • If you ordered the wrong part, we’ll exchange it within 30 days as long as it’s in new condition.
  • Price differences will be charged or refunded as appropriate.

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

  • If a part is defective or we shipped the wrong item, we’ll cover return shipping and send a replacement or refund at no extra cost.

5. Core Returns

Many parts (like alternators, starters, brake calipers, and steering components) carry a core charge—a refundable deposit for the used part.

  • Eligibility:
    • Cores must be returned within 30 days.
    • The returned core must match the purchased part type and size.
    • Cores must be complete, rebuildable, and not severely damaged (no broken housings, fire damage, or missing components).
  • Refund Process:
    • Once your core is received and inspected, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.
    • If inspection finds the core non-rebuildable or incorrect, no refund will be given.
  • Responsibility:
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on cores, unless otherwise arranged.
